Contemporary Dancers between the ages of 16-26. Dublin Youth Dance Company (DYDC)
is one of Ireland’s premiere contemporary youth-dance groups offering dance
training through weekly classes and performances nationally and
internationally and choreographic opportunities and workshops with Guest
Teachers. |

rehearse every Sunday at Dance Theatre of Ireland, with Artistic Director Mariam Ribbon. |

Well-Dance
Classes start again soon! - They are weekly dance classes for Seniors at
DTI’s Centre for Dance. Open to Seniors with or without dance experience,
participants are guided through modern dance sequences rich in imagery and
musicality, as well as activities that tap their creativity.
Exceptional Fun! Well-Dance participants have also been part of a
significant Trinity College OT study, soon to be poublished in the
"Physical & Occupational Therapy in Geriatrics" Journal
measuring the health benefits of dance for Seniors' mobility, confidence and

Moves @ DTI |

Nature Moves
is a new educational outreach programme for young people and adults to
experience greater connection with both nature and dance, designed to
increase creativity, enhance social interaction, and improve self confidence
and physical fitness through dance. Check out the Blog of students from

Participants
visit sites in their natural environment and engage in professionally
facilitated nature activities,
after which they take part in a series of dance
workshops, creating group dance project using Nature as inspiration. |
